After a back and forth discussion on the latest Indy movie. I felt it necessary to look at another Trilogy with Spielberg's name on it....BACK TO THE FUTURE. Ok he didn't direct it but if it wasn't for him....'we never would've fallen in love'...I mean it wouldn't have been made. Kudos to the Bobs for writing and directing it, tho. I'll never forget the moment I was in the cinema and realised....HE'S SITTING NEXT TO HIS DAD....NO WAY!!!! Everybody wants to travel thru time and these guys totally made it possible. Thank you BOB's & STEVE.
What are your memories of BTTF? And what did you make of the sequels?
Great post. Another classic trilogy that helped define a generation. I absolutely loved Back to the Future. I'm sure thousands of kids were inspired to take up the electric guitar or skateboarding as a result of Marty McFly! Like 99% of all trilogies made the 2nd and 3rd installments, although entertaining, paled in comparison to the first Back to the Future. I understand why filmakers want to make sequels (the almighty dollar) but sometimes I wish they would just leave well enough alone. I was waiting to see how they'd do the manure gag if they made number 4! I only ask one thing that if they do make a 4th Back to the Future movie, please leave out the interdimensional beings!
